It’s that time of year again when the Christmas festive season comes around. If you live in a snowy area, perhaps there’s not much you need to do get that instant yuletide feeling. For those of us in warmer climates, adding a little Christmas spirit can also be easy with a little creativity and experimentation. String Christmas Decoration
This is one of our favourites! Mega chic and uber stylish! Bring some class to your interior design! It’ll take a little work, but seriously, the result is well worth the effort! Look for light string, yarn etc., something light and thin. You’ll need paper to make the cone and some stiffener (suggestions in the instructions). Now, obviously if you’re going to use real candles, make sure your cone is safely big enough. Otherwise, have fun with the instructions here!
Home Made Potpourri
For a super simple, yet aromatic and visually delightful decoration, look no further than the humble potpourri! This couldn’t be any easier to make. Grab a handful of dried fruits, pine cones, cinnamon sticks and anything else that offers a wonderful aroma and you’re in business! You can hang them in a bag or leave it in a nice decorative bowl. For those who like to get the hands “dirty”, this is a great suggestion. All you need is clay and some cookie cutters. Shape the clay and use pretty much any instrument you like to add details and personalise your creations. Then hang ‘em up and enjoy!
